Our specially trained pediatric radiology team is available around the clock to care for your child. They provide a full array of diagnostic and interventional tests in a pleasant, age-appropriate environment. Our beach-themed pediatric MRI suite at the children’s hospital contains a larger-than-life sandcastle enclosing the MRI scanner; the first of its kind in the region, and fun seaside murals cover the walls throughout the space.
Our technologies include CT, MRI, X-ray, fluoroscopy and ultrasound. The high-tech MR scanner is equipped with special software that allows clear images to be taken, even with some patient movement. This helps prevent the need for sedation for many patients. A noise filter dramatically reduces the noise of the scan and the opening of the MRI is larger than most machines. Special Cinemavision goggles are also available. Safe and comfortable scanning for your child is our top priority.
