Overview

Surface Guided Radiation Therapy (SGRT) uses technology to position and monitor the patient’s body to ensure correct positioning throughout radiation treatments. SGRT matches surface data at time of treatment with data captured during the planning or simulation process.

SGRT can be used for a variety of indications, including breast, head and neck and pediatric cancer treatments. SGRT may also be used in conjunction with Deep Inspiration Breath Hold (DIBH), Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS), Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT) and other treatments.

SGRT provides the radiation oncology team with additional clinical tools to ensure radiation is delivered accurately to the intended target.
