The Archives at Yale New Haven Hospital is a useful, comprehensive collection which provides a complete and accurate record of the history of Yale New Haven Hospital. The Archives collects historical materials which document the activities, functions and culture of the hospital and its related organizations. It is the official repository for non-current, permanent records, acting as the corporate memory of Yale New Haven Hospital.
Materials collected by the Archives reflect Yale New Haven Hospital's mission of patient care, teaching, research and community service. They illustrate the key role played by Yale New Haven in the U.S. healthcare system and the local community. These records also provide evidence of the unique contributions made by hospital staff and physicians to the fields of medicine, nursing, allied health, research and hospital administration.

The Archives are located in the lower level of the Clinic Building. Office hours are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, from 8 am to 4:30 pm. The Archives are open to the public by appointment only.
