Center for EMS

Yale New Haven Hospital Center for EMS provides medical oversight to paramedics and EMTs operating in 27 EMS agencies throughout greater New Haven. Our medical director, along with our medical advisory board and operations coordinator, ensure that our providers receive the best in continuing education and serve the public with exceptional emergency medical care.

Yale New Haven Hospital Center for EMS also provides Emergency Medical Technician courses, a nationally accredited Paramedic program and American Heart Association courses. All courses are taught in our 14,000-square-foot-training center, which is fitted with state of the art audio-visual equipment and computer-controlled, high-fidelity simulation manikins.
