The program will begin this Spring. Over the course of six weeks, students will have weekly online assignments including web-based lectures. Students will meet in-person Tuesdays and Thursdays 5:30pm-7:30pm at our campus at 77 Willow St., New Haven, for lecture, case studies, and practical skills. The evening classes are designed to both supplement the key concepts from didactic learning and to provide guidance in preparing for the IBSC test questions. Classes are instructed by a variety of experienced providers including board certified community paramedics, nurses with at-home and community experience, and EMS-Is.
The final class day is a Bootcamp of review for the IBSC Content Outline. Upon completion of the Bootcamp, students will sit for their live-proctored CP-C board exam, included in the tuition of the course. Students will be awarded 48 hours of CME credit by the CT Department of Health, Office of Emergency Medical Services upon successful completion of the program. The program is also an approved review course by IBSC.
The next cohort will begin May 21, 2024 and run through July 2, 2024. Please visit GoSignMeUp to register.
