Income guidelines for YNHHS financial assistance vary by program and family size.
Additional programs are available to help patients and families in need of financial assistance. We can often help you find out if you qualify for federal or state funds to cover your hospital costs. Our agency coordinators are also available to help patients apply for Medicaid benefits. Call to speak with or schedule a free, private and confidential appointment with one of our patient account representatives.
All clinicians employed by Bridgeport Hospital (BH), Greenwich Hospital (GH), Lawrence and Memorial Hospital (LMH), Westerly Hospital (WH), Yale New Haven Hospital (YNHH), and North East Medical Group (NEMG) are covered under the YNHHS Financial Assistance Policy (FAP).
Attached are two lists: (1) includes clinicians that ARE covered under the YNHHS FAP and (2) includes clinicians that are NOT covered under the YNHHS FAP; patients should contact the clinician’s office to determine if they offer financial assistance and if so, how to become eligible, and for what services their financial assistance policy covers.
