When it's time for your surgery, a patient transporter will take you to the operating room.
Once you enter the operating room, you will receive the expert, quality care expected from one of the nation's top hospitals. Our compassionate, experienced surgical team gives your procedure the undivided attention required to ensure to best possible outcome.
In an effort to reduce errors, the entire surgical team will call a "time out" before your procedure begins. During this time, they will review and double-check your name, your pertinent information, the procedure you will be having, the surgical site and who the operating surgeon is. This is an important patient safety measure. If you are awake, listen carefully to what is said. Speak up if you have any questions or concerns.
