Biography - Cheryl K. Gooden, MD

Cheryl K. Gooden, MD, is an anesthesiologist who focuses on providing sedation and pain control for children undergoing various medical procedures. She employs a variety of techniques tailored to the unique needs of pediatric patients to ensure their safety and comfort during surgery.

As an associate professor of anesthesiology and pediatrics at Yale School of Medicine, Dr. Gooden is involved in research aimed at improving anesthesia practices for children. Her work contributes to the development of guidelines and protocols that enhance patient care in pediatric anesthesiology.

Dr. Gooden received her medical training from Temple University School of Medicine and completed her residency in anesthesia at St. Luke's/Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York.
