Liz is a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with experience in the non-profit affordable housing industry, and community based pediatric healthcare. After working in primary care pediatrics, Liz returned to New Haven Connecticut where she currently practices as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner for the Yale School of Medicine Community Health Care Van Maternal Infant Program (CHCV MIP). Liz is passionate about increasing access to community-based health care, childhood play and development, lactation support for new mothers, and supporting low-income and unstably housed families. Liz has extensive experience in harm reduction, particularly with the New Haven Syringe Services Program (NHSSP). Liz works closely with community partners to provide care to pregnant and postpartum persons in substance use residential treatment, with a focus on infant-parent attachment, play and development. She is a Certified Lactation Counselor, a clinical instructor at the Yale School of Nursing and a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (NAPNAP).
