Farlyn Charlot, DPM

Farlyn Charlot, DPM, a board-certified podiatrist, enjoys the opportunity to provide care for all aspects of podiatry to the Fairfield, Connecticut area and growing with the community. Dr. Charlot is board-certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (ABFAS). She specializes in the treatment of conditions of the foot and ankle, including the management of complicated diabetic wounds, fractures, sport injuries of the foot and ankle, bunions, ingrown toenails, plantar fasciitis, flatfoot, Morton’s neuroma and hammertoes.Dr. Charlot was born in New York and grew up in Georgia before having the opportunity to return to the north again. She received her medical degree from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in New York City and completed her residency at Yale New Haven Hospital. Her residency focused on medicine and surgery of the foot and ankle, with emphasis on limb salvage, reconstructive rear-foot and ankle surgery. While completing her residency, New Haven fell in love with her and she just could not leave to go anywhere else.Dr. Charlot is a fellow member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (ACFAS) and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. She is on the board of the Connecticut Podiatric Medical Association (CPMA) and the Yale Surgical Society (YSS).In her free time, Dr. Charlot enjoys spending time with her family, attending her daughter’s many activities, traveling and getting away to the beach for fun and relaxation. She has a passion for working out doing either yoga Pilates or spin.
