    Biography - Kayla B. Penniman, APRN

    Kayla Penniman, APRN, is currently a primary care nurse practitioner at Northeast Medical Group Family Medicine in Guilford, CT. Kayla earned both her bachelor’s degree in nursing and nutrition science and her master’s degree in nursing with a major in adult-geriatric primary care from the University of Pennsylvania. She is a board-certified adult-geriatric primary care nurse practitioner (AGPCNP-BC), certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Kayla is also a certified diabetes care and education specialist (CDCES), certified by the Association of Diabetes Care and Education Specialists (ADCES).

    Outside of work, Kayla enjoys the fiber arts, including crocheting, lace making, weaving, and sewing. She also loves playing sports, especially hockey—ice, deck, and field.
