Lia N. Cesar, MD

Lia Cesar, MD, a board-certified family medicine physician, is experienced in working with a diverse patient population and in providing comprehensive and high-quality care to all her patients. Dr. Cesar believes in the importance of building a rapport, involving patients in their medical care through shared decision making and is committed to providing excellent medical care to all her patients. She is diligent, thorough and a personable physician with a good bedside manner and is adept at putting her patients at ease. Dr. Cesar provides treatment of acute and chronic illnesses such as hypertension, diabetes, thyroid disease, cholesterol, obesity, weight loss, annual physical exams, asthma, anxiety/depression and many other medical conditions. She has special interests in preventative medicine and women’s health. Dr. Cesar earned her medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine. She completed her residency at the New York Medical College Family Medicine Program at Hoboken University Medical Center in Hoboken, New Jersey, where she served as chief resident. Dr. Cesar is board-certified in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM). She sees patients 18 years of age and older. Dr. Cesar is fluent in English and Haitian-Creole.
