Rebecca Orsulak Calabrese, MBA, MHS, PA-C, is surgical physician assistant (PA) who currently works on the Health System's Care Signature team with the Surgical and Orthopedic Surgery Service Lines. Care Signature works to define and implement the highest-quality care to be delivered by every caregiver in our health system at every site, every day.
She has experience in endocrine surgery, general surgery, trauma, surgical oncology, otolaryngology surgery, plastic and reconstructive surgery, minimally invasive surgery, colorectal surgery, orthopaedics and rehabilitation, and neurosurgery.
Along with her administrative and clinical roles, Rebecca enjoys mentoring students, residents and colleagues. She has been recognized by the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) as a clinical preceptor for the AAPA, a designation awarded to PAs who demonstrate dedication to the education of the next generation of PAs. She is also involved safety and quality initiatives and similar efforts surrounding engagement and wellbeing of medical staff.
In her free time, Calabrese enjoys spending time with her family, pilates, hiking, skiing, traveling and being outdoors.
