Biography - Robert M. Matera, MD

Robert Matera, MD, is a medical oncologist specializing in genitourinary oncology. He focuses on treating cancers of the urinary system and male reproductive organs, including prostate cancer.

He is particularly involved in the development and accessibility of clinical trials for genitourinary malignancies, aiming to bring cutting-edge treatments to patients in community settings.

As an assistant professor of medicine at Yale School of Medicine, Dr. Matera's research explores the tumor microenvironment and its impact on disease progression and treatment resistance.
