Biography - Suzanne B. Evans, MD, MPH

Suzanne B. Evans, MD, is a therapeutic radiologist specializing in breast cancer radiotherapy. She focuses on providing care for patients with breast cancer, aiming to minimize treatment side effects while maximizing cure rates.

Dr. Evans employs a variety of techniques to enhance patient communication and ensure quality and safety in cancer care. “No matter who you are, you are safe to receive care with Dr. Evans,” she says. “Please know that coming to my office you will be valued and cared for with great care, regardless of how you classify yourself or the ways in which you are classified.”

As a professor of therapeutic radiology at Yale School of Medicine, Dr. Evans conducts research on improving the safety and effectiveness of radiation therapy. Her research is centered on breast cancer treatment and developing strategies to enhance patient communication and care quality.

Dr. Evans received her medical degree at Tulane University School of Medicine, where she also completed a residency in internal medicine. She then pursued training in radiation oncology at Tufts Medical Center.
