Overview

Yale New Haven Health offers the latest EOS low dose imaging technology that captures high-quality images with significantly reduced radiation exposure, ensuring the utmost comfort and wellbeing of our patients.

In just a few minutes, the EOSedge® imaging system captures two X-ray scans of the body at the same time. The exam is done in a standing or seated position with the goal of giving physicians a depiction of your natural weight-bearing posture. This technology is ADA accessible and designed to accommodate most children and adults.

The images and information generated by this technology helps us better understand the patient’s unique anatomy and condition. For those requiring surgery, these images allow the surgical team to plan for surgery and develop treatment plans.
