    Yale New Haven Health is grateful for the generosity and support of our community during the COVID-19 pandemic. Here are some ways you can show your support for caregivers on the front lines and contribute to donation efforts at our facilities.

    Change your profile picture

    covidThe simple act of changing your social medial profile picture can send a powerful message to healthcare providers on the front lines taking care of patients. Download the I Support Our Healthcare Workers icon for social media or print the Flyer and display it on your front door or window of your home/apartment. When you do, tag us in your photos and posts and we'll share with our staff so they know you're thinking of them.

    COVID-19 Support Fund

    The COVID-19 Support Fund will provide critical support to the hospital during the COVID-19 pandemic through our Emergency Preparedness Department. Support will be used for patient care including testing, medication, medical supplies and staff support. It will enable our clinical staff to sustain their resilience and continue to provide safe, high-quality care to our patients and community. As the COVID-19 crisis continues to unfold, needs may increase or change. The COVID-19 Support Fund is designed to provide assistance as needs continue to be identified during this crisis. Make a gift today! 

    Medical Equipment Donations

    While Yale New Haven Health does not normally accept donations of supplies and equipment, the COVID-19 pandemic has restricted the quantities of protective equipment our caregivers need. We are currently in need of the following resources:

    • Disposable head covers/caps
    • Disposable gowns
    • Disposable gloves
    • N95 respirator face masks
    • Powered air purifying respirators 
    • Disposable face masks
    • Face-shields/goggles
    • Coveralls/scrubs
    • Shoe-covers
    • Disinfection wipes and liquids
    • General purpose hand cleansers

    All items should be in original unopened packaging. Please submit offers to [email protected] with contact information for our staff to respond to.
