The Yale Center for Infectious Diseases (YCID) Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI) Clinic is a non-primary care, adult outpatient clinic within YCID. Our STI clinic promotes sexual health by providing screening, treatment and prevention of sexually transmitted infections. We pride ourselves on providing safe, confidential, respectful, and judgement-free care. The STI clinic is staffed by a world-class STI multidisciplinary team of physicians, physician assistant, nurses, counselors, social workers and clinical researchers. We provide quick and confidential symptom evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of STIs.

It’s not often we have the tools to prevent cancer. The human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine can do just that. HPV is the most common sexually transmitted infection and can lead to warts, cervical, vaginal and penial cancer as well as cancer of the neck and throat. While there are treatments for cancer, there is no treatment for HPV.
