Will Cushing PA-C, executive director, Yale New Haven Hospital Hospitalist Service, recently received the Connecticut Academy of Physician Assistants PA of the Year Award for 2021. The award recognizes Cushing’s work throughout the year, including helping to lead YNHH’s inpatient response to the COVID crisis, and a new Advanced Practice Executive Council that helps drive policy changes and practice regulations. Cushing joined YNHH in 2002 and has served in a variety of roles. He earned his master of medical science and PA degree from the Yale School of Medicine PA Program.
