Injury prevention center helps keep employees’ little ones safe

Nearly 300 Yale New Haven Hospital employees received information on the proper use of child car seats at a July 28 event hosted by Yale New Haven Hospital’s Center for Injury and Violence Prevention. A grant from Buckle Up for Life, Toyota and Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center paid for more than 370 free booster seats and vouchers distributed at the event. Injury Prevention staff often conduct car seat safety events in the community, but wanted to thank Yale New Haven employees for their hard work, particularly during the COVID pandemic.
