Let’s Talk event on “post-traumatic growth” Dec. 15

Employees are invited to a Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging Let’s Talk event, noon - 1 pm Thursday, Dec. 15. Kendall Palladino, director, Spiritual Care, Yale New Haven Hospital, and system liaison for Spiritual Care, will discuss what post-traumatic growth is and how it can promote belonging and celebrate diversity. At the end of the presentation attendees will be able to:

• Better understand post-traumatic growth
• Appreciate the critical importance of community vs. loneliness; connection vs. disconnection; and belonging vs. isolation during and after stressful events
• Explore practices and mindsets that are more likely to promote meaning, purpose and connection while celebrating our common humanity in all its diversity
