Employees enrolled in a Yale New Haven Health medical plan should have received their new Anthem ID cards for 2020 in a mailing to their homes. This card has a new member ID and group number and should be presented to your healthcare providers so they can verify coverage and bill Anthem. If your provider continues to use your old ID number, they will be told coverage has terminated and the claims will be denied. If you have not received your new ID cards or have any questions, contact Anthem, 844-963-0447, or log in to Anthem.com to request new ID cards and print temporary cards.

YNHHS’ Microsoft Outlook is configured to automatically move older emails to an archive site to help keep servers running smoothly and inboxes open. Because users are relying more on email, Information Technology Services recently moved the “age” at which email is archived from six months to three months. To view an older email (received or sent, attachments included) check the Email Archives app (also called NetGovern). Follow the link to access or go to the Windows/ Start menu (lower left of your computer screen) and look for “Email Archives” under “E.” You must be inside a YNHHS domain or VPN, and you will have to enter your network ID and password. After logging in, click the Outlook folder you wish to review and scroll or search for the content you need.
The American Heart Association and the American Medical Association awarded Yale New Haven Hospital Gold Status for helping lead the national effort to get patient blood pressure rates under control and reduce heart attacks and strokes.
