National Trauma Survivors Day is designed to draw inspiration from and provide support to survivors of traumatic injuries, along with their caregivers. On Friday, May 17, staff from YNHH’s Trauma Survivors Network will provide information about trauma care and rehabilitation and peer support groups, 10 am - noon, East Pavilion Cafeteria, York Street Campus.

Hospital departments at both campuses are invited to apply for up to $5,000 from the YNHH Auxiliary’s Project Grants Program for FY 2019-2020. Requests must be submitted by Monday, July 1 for projects that directly benefit patients and their families and would not be covered by department funding. Submissions must be approved by the department’s vice president. Cover sheets and documentation should be sent to [email protected]; please include department name and request in the subject line. Supporting documentation should be scanned and attached to the application form. A maximum of six pages will be accepted per proposal.
