Main 6 earns patient care award

Just two years after opening their new unit, staff on the Bariatric/General Surgery Unit (Main 6) were celebrating again – this time for earning a national award. CipherHealth, a technology company, chose Main 6 from 230 nominees from throughout the U.S. for its 2018 Outstanding Patient Care Award. In presenting the award, Zachary Phillips, Cipher’s vice president of Health System Engagement, cited staff’s compassion and commitment to patient advocacy. The Main 6 team accepted the award at a June 13 celebration.
