The real-world classroom
Through YNHH’s School to Career program, 24 New Haven high school students considering healthcare careers recently spent five weeks in clinical and non-clinical departments at the hospital and health system. The students worked with employees in a variety of areas, including hospital and health system. The students worked with employees in a variety of areas, including Nursing, the Institute for Excellence, Day Care, Biomedical Engineering, Perioperative Services and PFAS.
