Employees are invited to a lecture, "Stepping Toward Healthier Feet," 4:30 - 5:30 pm Thursday, May 14, 55 Park St. auditorium, and 5:30 - 6:30 pm Wednesday, May 27, Cronin Auditorium, Saint Raphael Campus. Steven Vyce, DPM, chief of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery, and Bruce Jacobsen, physical therapist, coordinator of Industrial Rehabilitation Services, will discuss common foot conditions and causes, basic foot care and choosing appropriate foot wear.

"Some of the Side Effects," a one-man theater piece, will be held 5:30 - 7:30 pm Thursday, May 21, in the 55 Park St. auditorium. The event is free and open to the public. The fast-paced, dark comedy details playwright and star David Shaw's experiences with the mental healthcare system. Yale New Haven Psychiatric Hospital is among the sponsors of the event, held in honor of Mental Health Awareness Month.
