YNHCH ranked in cancer (#44); diabetes and endocrinology (#5); gastroenterology and GI surgery (#26); neonatology (#46); neurology and neurosurgery (#39) and pulmonology (#44). At #5, YNHCH diabetes and endocrinology was ranked among the elite national programs for the fifth year in a row.
"We are honored to have so many of our children's hospital specialties ranked among the best in the United States. We are especially proud that our diabetes and endocrinology program is among the top five nationally," said Clifford Bogue, MD, physician-in-chief and chief medical officer, YNHCH, and interim chief, pediatrics, Yale School of Medicine. "Our goal is simply to be the best we can be for the children of our region. Our growth, our quality and safety initiatives, and our commitment to recruiting and retaining top medical talent are vital to improving outcomes, discovering new cures and caring for every child who needs us."
YNHCH has campuses in New Haven and Bridgeport and a network of seven Pediatric Specialty Centers across the region that provide access to more than 35 pediatric medical and surgical subspecialties.
