Courtney Vose, RN, DNP, has been named chief nursing officer for Yale New Haven Hospital effective Feb. 24. She will succeed Ena Williams, RN, PhD, who will transition to Yale New Haven Health chief nurse executive. Vose is currently senior vice president and chief nursing officer at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital (RWJUH) in New Jersey and associate professor, Division of Advanced Practice Nursing, Rutgers School of Nursing. Before joining RWJUH Vose was chief nursing officer for New York-Presbyterian (NYP)/Columbia Irving Medical Center, NYP/Allen Hospital and NYP/Columbia Ambulatory Care Network. She was also assistant professor of Clinical Nursing, Columbia University School of Nursing. Vose earned her BSN from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, an MSN/Adult Nurse Practitioner degree from Temple University, and her Master of Business Administration and Doctorate in Nursing Practice in executive leadership from DeSales University.
