Expanded OSG makes SRC access a breeze

On Jan. 3, Yale New Haven Hospital held a ribbon-cutting for the second half of the Orchard Street parking garage at the Saint Raphael Campus. Several hundred employees who park at surface lots have been invited to park in the garage, which has 1,524 spaces for employees and patients. The garage has entrances and exits on Chapel and George streets and two sky bridges that make it safe and convenient to access the SRC. Cutting the ribbon were (l-r): Rodney Slaughter, director of Parking and Transportation; Dean Caruso, vice president, Support Services and Sustainability; Mario Vieira, system executive director, Facilities, Design and Construction; Katherine Heilpern, MD, president; and Michael Holmes, executive vice president and chief operating officer.
