YNHH’s School of Nurse Anesthesia invites those interested in becoming a certified registered nurse anesthetist to an open house, 9:30 am - 5 pm Tuesday, Jan. 29, at the Saint Raphael Campus Orchard Medical Building, Suite 216. Employee and Family Resources (EFR) will hold Mindful Solutions, a free, six-week course for employees, 11 am - noon Wednesdays, Jan. 30 - March 6 at the Saint Raphael Campus, Private 300. The Yale New Haven Hospital Auxiliary is offering 10 scholarships for $2,000 apiece to area students planning to pursue health-related careers. Scholarships are based on academic excellence, financial need, personal statement and community service, including school and community activities and/or employment. Applicants must be high school seniors from one of these towns: Bethany, Branford, Cheshire, East Haven, Guilford, Hamden, Madison, Milford, New Haven, North Branford, North Haven, Orange, Wallingford, West Haven or Woodbridge. The YNHH Auxiliary is a diverse, dedicated and dynamic group of women and men who devote their free time to developing initiatives that support the hospital’s mission.
