YNHHS gets pumped for Heart Month

Heart and Vascular Center cardiologist James Freeman, MD, is one of the physicians and employees featured in YNHHS’ Heart Month videos. An avid cyclist who often rides to work, Dr. Freeman talks about how activity can benefit heart – and overall – health.

Yale New Haven Health’s Heart and Vascular Center invites employees to celebrate Heart Month in February. On National Wear Red Day Friday, Feb. 1, show your support for women’s heart health (employee dress code applies), pick up information about heart disease and join other employees and volunteers for social media photos. Schedule:

• 8 am - 1 pm: York Street Campus special events area and Saint Raphael Campus Allspice Café. Noon: social media photos, YSC special events area; SRC main lobby.

• 11 am - 2 pm: HVC outpatient location, 2 Devine St., North Haven
