Elena Gutman, MD, has been named Yale New Haven Health medical director of Accreditation and Regulatory Affairs. She will provide medical leadership for licensing, accreditation, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services certification and other regulatory requirements for YNHHS hospitals. Dr. Gutman earned her BS degree from Brown University and her MD from Weill Cornell Medical College, and is pursuing a master’s of health science as a quality and safety fellow at Yale School of Medicine. She completed her anesthesiology residency at Yale New Haven Hospital/Yale School of Medicine and is an assistant professor of anesthesiology at Yale School of Medicine.

Curtis Kuck has been named Yale New Haven Health’s director of infrastructure for the Corporate Facilities - Facilities Design and Construction team. Kuck has 31 years of experience in construction as a project manager for several construction management firms. His experience includes work on complex healthcare renovations and new construction projects, including Smilow Cancer Hospital and the South Pavilion renovations at Yale New Haven Hospital. Kuck graduated from Drexel University with a BS degree in mechanical engineering.
